Driving Your Business Forward, Not Your Time

What is going to drive your business forward?

It’s not going to be grinding away 70 hours a week. That will only bring a burnout.

Getting into business, whether it’s your first day, or you’ve done it for 10+ years, is all about gaining the freedom you desire, control you want, and predictability.

But as you get the ball rolling, make a few sales, work with a few clients, you start to lose TIME. You will always hit your capacity and start working more than you want.

The biggest obstacle most people face is the inability to give of control of something they have worked to build. The mindset that they must control all aspects of their agency if they want the best results.

Real talk: You are not the best at all the operations your agency has. And to continually grow and scale, you shouldn’t be.

What you should be focused on doing to continue to drive results as you grow is to systemically eliminate yourself from any process that doesn’t require your undivided attention. As soon as you develop or implement a new process, and you have some cash flow, you need to pass off responsibility!

Do you need to do all your organic marketing? Nope

Should you be building out PowerPoints, email lists, accounting, etc? Nope

If you try and wear to many hats you will burnout and lose your consistency in delivery and even your drive.

Bring in VAs, contractor, PT, FT employees as you scale. Find people who can get the job done, want to do the job, and pass off responsibility to them. These individuals will most likely be better at their area of responsibility than you, and that is the point!

If you do this, you CAN scale more efficiently and YOU won’t have to invest any extra time to do so.

Before you know it, you’ll have a team where you can strictly focus on what makes you the most profitable and allow them to assist you along the way.
